HR Technology, AI and Automation

HR technology is the set of systems that run your people processes: HRMS, payroll, hiring and engagement tools, and the automation around them. HRBS helps Indian employers choose the right platform, implement it, repair one that is not working, and build custom HR tools and AI assistants around it.

Problems this group solves

  • You are choosing an HRMS and every vendor demo looks the same.
  • A system went live but managers still run HR on spreadsheets.
  • Payroll, attendance and leave sit in different tools that do not talk to each other.
  • Reports take days to produce and nobody trusts the numbers.
  • You want to automate routine HR work but do not know where to start.

If one of these sounds familiar, the pages below show how HRBS works on it, what is included and what it costs you.

Who it suits

This group suits employers with 100 to several thousand employees who are buying a first HRMS, replacing one, or trying to get value from one they already pay for. It also suits manufacturers with plants in several locations, where attendance, shift and contractor data must come together in one place.

What you get with HRBS

Platform neutral adviceHRBS works with Keka, ZingHR, Adrenalin HCM and Odoo, and recommends the one that fits your process, not the one with the best margin.
No HRBS fee for selection and implementationSoftware, vendor, integration and statutory costs stay with the providers. HRBS does not add a service fee on top.
Support after go-liveHRBS supports you for as long as you use the software. This covers HRBS support only, not the vendor support contract.

Why this matters

Most HR systems fail for ordinary reasons. The process was never written down, the data was moved in without cleaning, or managers were never trained, so the tool became one more place to type. HRBS starts with the process and the people who use it, and treats the software as the last step, not the first. That order is why a system implemented properly can cut routine HR work, while a rushed one adds to it. Automation and AI tools follow the same rule: map the task, test it on a small group, then widen it.

HR Technology, AI and Automation FAQs

What is HR technology?

HR technology covers the software that manages employee records, payroll, attendance, hiring, performance and engagement, plus automation and AI tools that remove manual HR work. An HRMS is the core of it for most employers.

Does HRBS charge for HRMS selection and implementation?

No. HRBS does selection and implementation work with no HRBS fee, on any platform. You still pay the vendor, any integration work and statutory costs, which stay with the providers.

Can you fix an HRMS we already bought?

Yes. The HRMS Health Check and Rescue service reviews configuration, data quality, adoption and vendor support, then gives you a fix plan with owners and timelines.

When does custom HR software make sense?

Custom tools make sense when a standard HRMS cannot handle one specific process, such as plant shift rules or contractor onboarding, and the cost of a workaround keeps growing.

AI employees for routine HR work

An AI employee is an assistant built for one repeatable HR task, such as answering policy questions, routing approvals or drafting documents. It supports your HR team and does not replace its judgement.

One job, clearly scopedEach assistant covers a single task, built from your policies and HRMS data. The scope is agreed in writing before work starts.
A person reviewsAnything that needs judgement goes to your HR team, and drafts are checked before they are sent.
Access limited by rolePeople see only what their role allows, and the work runs in a controlled environment.

Where to start, and where not to

Good first tasks repeat every day and follow a written policy: leave and attendance queries, approval routing, first drafts of offer or experience letters. Disciplinary decisions, grievances and pay exceptions stay with people.

Software is not always the answer, and HRBS tells you when it is not. Often the real fix is a clearer policy or cleaner HRMS data, and an assistant built on a messy record only repeats the mess faster.

Before you agree a scope, settle five points in writing: the single task, the policy documents the assistant will use, who reviews its output, which roles can see which data, and how the assistant is switched off if it does not work.

Common questions

What is an AI employee in HR?

An AI employee is an assistant built for one repeatable HR task, such as answering policy questions, routing approvals or drafting documents. It works from your policies and data. The scope is agreed in writing, access is limited by role, and a person reviews anything that needs judgement.

Is our employee data safe with an AI employee?

Data handling is explained before you commit, with terms agreed in writing. Access is limited by role and the work runs in a controlled environment. We tell you where data is stored and who can reach it, so your team can review the arrangement before any work starts.
