HR Strategy, Performance and Culture
HR strategy turns business goals into people decisions: structure, pay, performance, leadership and culture. HRBS provides senior HR advisory and CHRO as a service for growing Indian companies, covering performance management, total rewards and job grading, succession planning and a free HR risk assessment.

Problems this group solves
- The business is growing but HR still works reactively.
- Pay feels unfair and nobody can explain how grades are set.
- Performance reviews take effort and change nothing.
- One person leaving would leave a hole nobody can fill.
- You are not sure which HR risks matter most.
If one of these sounds familiar, the pages below show how HRBS works on it, what is included and what it costs you.
Who it suits
This group suits owner led and professionally managed companies that have grown past the point where an HR manager can carry strategy alone. It also suits boards and promoters who want an outside view on people risk.

Why this matters
Strategy work is easy to postpone because nothing breaks today. The cost shows up later as pay disputes, leaders who leave without a successor, or a review cycle people ignore. HRBS keeps this work practical. We begin with a diagnosis, agree two or three priorities, and build only the structures you will use. Tools such as the grading framework or the succession map stay with your team, so you do not need us to run them every year.

HR Strategy, Performance and Culture FAQs
What is CHRO as a service?
It is a retained arrangement where an experienced HR leader advises your leadership on strategy, people risk and organisation, for a fixed number of days a month, without a full time executive hire.
How does the free HR risk assessment work?
You answer a short set of questions about your HR practices. The tool scores each area and explains what the score means, so you can decide where to act first.
When should we build a job grading structure?
When pay differences are hard to explain, when you hire senior people and need a consistent offer, or when headcount passes the point where pay is set case by case.
Does HRBS cover performance management software?
HRBS designs the process first and then fits it to a tool. For tools, see the HR Technology group.
How is HR strategy different from HR operations?
HR strategy decides what the organisation needs from its people over the next few years: structure, leadership, pay and culture. HR operations runs the daily work. Strategy sets the direction operations follow.
When should a growing company write an HR strategy?
Usually when headcount, locations or leadership change faster than HR can keep up, or before a funding round or expansion. A short HR strategy tied to the business plan is more useful than a long document.
Can HRBS work with our existing HR head?
Yes. HRBS often supports an in-house HR head, adding senior advice or extra hands for a project without replacing anyone.
